Cyprus will participate in the Eurovision Song Contest: Stockholm, with the song "You're the One" by Leni. The Cypriot broadcaster Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation (CyBC) internally selected the artist and song chosen for the Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm.
Before Eurovision[]
Internal selection[]
In September, Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation revealed that a song had already been internally selected, and that discussions on the artist would begin shortly. They later stated that a shortlist of five artists had been compiled through consultations with Cypriot record labels and closed auditions, and all five finalists would be recording demo versions of the song. The final artist would be chosen through various focus groups.
On 31 December, they revealed that Leni had been selected to represent the country. The song, "You're the One", was later released on 25 January.
At Eurovision[]
Cyprus will perform in the first semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest: Stockholm, held in Friends Arena.
