Sebastian William Grönvall (born 27 February 1998), better known as simply Sebastian, is a Swedish singer and songwriter. She competed in Svensksong 1 with the song "Freak".

Life and career[]

Early life[]

Grönvall was born on 27 February 1998 in Nacka Municipality, Stockholm County. His father, William, is Swedish, while his mother, Annmarie, is of mixed Swedish-Tunisian descent. He has one older sister.

Grönvall graduated from compulsory schooling in 2014, and then began attending a music school in Stockholm. He will graduate in 2017, and began his professional music career in 2016.

2016–present: Breakthrough and Svensksong[]

While still a high school student, Grönvall was signed to Swedish record label TEN in 2016, and began work on solo music. That year, he was confirmed to be taking part in Svensksong 1, with the song "Freak". He performed the song in the second semi-final, and advanced to andra chansen. In andra chansen, he advanced to the final, where he placed sixth.
